As we all agree that the YOUTH of the nation are our future. The future of Emerging India and Vibrant India lies on the strong shoulders of our Youth .The youth have the requisite power and potential to change the course of the country for a better future.
I have personally witnessed the enormous potential of the Youths during and post Emergency. The Youths of India changed the entire Political scenario of the country by overthrowing the tyrannical Indira Gandhi regime, although unfortunately the sacrifice by them was very unfortunate. I’ve seen from my own eyes, thousands of students of Patna University hit the streets after proclamation of Emergency on 25 June 1975. 18 students were gunned down on a single day by Indira Congress Government and unfortunately I was a witness to this most dreadful and unfortunate act.
But, the fire was lit, and the entire student community across the country jumped into the fire.Indira Gandhi couldn’t crush the Students Movement which had engulfed the entire country and all sections of the populace.
And that was the beginning of a different political scenario.
And I can vouch upon the fact that this is the most important incident…a revolution…in the annals of Political History of India
And it was achieved by the Youth Brigade
So no revolution,no movement can be taken forward,can be achieved, without the proactive support of the YOUTH
With that in mind I have pleasure in announcing that we are starting/establishing our Youth Brigade today.
